With bus and train:
- To “Hauptbahnhof Homburg-Saar” (Homburg-Saar main station) (ICE, IC, EC, SÜWEX). There is a good bus connection to Jägersburg:
- Bus number (505) to Bexbach (via Höchen) – Bus stop is called “Herrgottshübel”
- Bus number (280, 282, 288) to bus stop called “Jägersburg Ortsmitte”
With bus or car:
- Motorway A6 Mannheim-Saarbrücken until the exit Waldmohr or Homburg/Saar…
- Motorway A1 from Trier to Saarbrücken-Karlsruhe, at the motorway intersection “Saarbrücken” change to A8 Neunkirchen-Zweibrücken-Karlsruhe, at the motorway intersection “Neunkirchen” change to A6 with direction Kaiserslautern. Take the exit Homburg/Saar…
… drive to Jägersburg. In the village, you follow the signs for Höchen. Right behind the village exit, there is the campsite on the left side. There is, on purpose, no sign for the campsite.
With the plane:
- The airport Saarbrücken is only 20 minutes away by car
- The airport Frankfurt is approximately 2 hours away by car. You can take the train as well to drive to Homburg and take the bus afterwards. (see also for arrival by bus and train)
