Campground rules

The campsite is located in a protected landscape area. Therefore, please respect and protect the nature on the campsite and its surroundings. Please observe the following points so that many more groups can spend their activities and camps on the site:

  1. Behave on the campsite, in Jägersburg and in the surrounding area in such a way that other campsite users and the neighboring population do not suffer any avoidable dis-advantages. In particular, you must ensure that other campground users and the popu-lation of Jägersburg are not disturbed from 10 p.m. onwards. The night’s rest must be strictly observed from midnight.
  2. The use of loudspeakers, amplification systems and jukeboxes are prohibited, as this unnecessarily disturbs other groups and the population of Jägersburg.
  3. Night-time “raiding parties”and the like will not be tolerated. Violations are consid-ered trespassing against the campsite operator.
  4. Animals (dogs, etc.) are not permitted on the entire campsite, with the exception of designated guide dogs. Any droppings must be removed immediately.
  5. The cutting down of trees and bushes on the campsite and the adjacent private forest is prohibited. It is possible to collect firewood (deadwood on the ground) in the state for-est.
  6. The camp site must be used in such a way that later groups can still enjoy it. Digging ditches around the tents is not permitted. If necessary, small sand walls may be created around the tents.
  7. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the campsite. They are to be parked in the parking lot in front of the campsite. Materials may be transported on the campsite by handcart or wheelbarrow. Cycling on the campsite is prohibited.
  8. The construction of additional fireplaces is not permitted. High fire (cooking) pits may be set up in consultation with the groundskeeper.
  9. The washing and toilet facilities must be cleaned daily by the groups. Cleaning takes place in rotation with the other groups.
  10. It is forbidden to wash dishes in the washbasins in and around the toilet facilities. There are special sinks in the kitchen buildings for this purpose.
  11. The kitchen houses must be treated with care. Thorough final cleaning is mandatory.
  12. All garbage must be removed from the camp site on departure.
  13. If a group or its members do not comply with the campsite rules, the campsite operator reserves the right to demand compensation or to expel the entire group from the campsite immediately (especially in the case of violations of 2., 3. and 4.).
  14. From a forest fire risk level 4 (according to the German Weather Service), increased caution is required and sufficient extinguishing agents (e.g. fire extinguishers) must be provided when making a fire. In addition, the fire must not be left alone under any cir-cumstances. When leaving or going to bed, please extinguish with sufficient water. From this level upwards, we as the site operator can also issue a fire ban. In the event of a forest fire risk level 5, fires may no longer be lit under any circumstances.
  15. Cigarette butts must not be thrown into the fire pits or into nature. These must be col-lected in an old container filled with water, for example, and disposed of in the resid-ual waste at the end of the camp.
